It is Rumored that Apple will release its 4.7-inch iPhone 6 in August
It is reported that Apple will launch the long-rumored iPhone 6 in August, one month earlier than industry watchers were generally expecting. There is news reported that a 4.7-inch screen version of the iPhone 6 will hit the market in August, but which markets would receive the phone first is still unclear. Besides, Apple also plans to unveil 5.5-inch or 5.6-Inch iPhone version in September. It is also rumored that this year 80 million iPhone 6 handsets would be produced. Industry watchers have said launching larger screen iPhone will help Apple to regain market share from competitors like Samsung, etc.
TheVerge reported that the resolution of iPhone 6 will reach 1704×960, and Apple has tested the possibility to use this kind of resolution on its new phones. Both iPhone 5 and 5s’resolution is 1136×640 which is twice as the basic resolution which is 568×320, if triple, that will be 1704×960. In fact the resolution 1704×960 still has an aspect ratio of 16:9, which will be longer and wider than the old iPhone. If the above theory is true, no matter the 4.7-inch iPhone or the 5.5-inch one will match the criteria that Apple set for the display screen and the pixel density will be much higher than the old iPhone.
