Apple Updates iTunes U service which allows teachers to created curriculum on iPad directly


Apple announced that it updated iTunes U service with new features which aims at adding more convenience for its online course. The update will begin at this August. The new update allows teachers to create lesson directly on iPad, when creating curriculum, teacher can directly add teaching material from iWork, iBooks, or other 75000 education applications, and it also allows teachers to use the iPad camera to project the class for students. Each section of the course can be open to iTunes U customers in 155 countries, to share their teaching results.

While students can have class discussions, asking teacher and classmates via iPad, when there is new discussion message or a new topic they will receive push notifications, etc. Not long ago, Google has also introduced a Classroom education suite, is similar to that of apple, but Google got Android tablet as hardware carrier.
